How Chinese zodiac compatibility works
Traditional charts do not score personality tests. They sort the 12 animals into combinations that were considered easier or harder to live with. Three animals that form a supportive trio, or two that form a close pair, usually receive a higher score. Animals that clash usually receive a lower one.
The numbers are a way to show that ranking clearly: overall, love, communication, trust, and long-term. They are not a prediction of whether a relationship will last.

How is Chinese zodiac compatibility calculated?+
We look up the traditional relationship between two animals: supportive groups, close pairs, clashes, and a few harder combinations. Those relationships map to the scores you see.
Will the same two signs get the same score twice?+
Yes. Dragon and Rat always receive the same numbers. The result does not change because you asked on a different day.
What if I only know a birth date?+
Enter the date under each person. We will fill in that person's animal, then compare the two signs.
Does a low score mean we should not be together?+
No. A clash can still be loyal, and an easy pair can still be careless. Treat the chart as folklore about the animals, not a decision about the people.
