These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Chinese Zodiac Calculator and its related pages (together, the “Site”). By using the Site you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Site, or the minimum digital-consent age in your country if it is higher.

Chinese Zodiac Calculator is provided for entertainment, education, and cultural reference only. The Chinese zodiac is a traditional folk practice. Nothing on the Site is a scientific prediction, and nothing it says about personality, relationships, or the future should be taken as fact about any person or outcome.

You use the Site at your own discretion, and you are responsible for how you interpret or act on anything you read here.

The Site does not provide professional advice of any kind, including medical, psychological, financial, legal, or relationship advice. Content about compatibility, personality, or “good matches” reflects cultural tradition, not expertise. Always consult an appropriately qualified professional for decisions that affect your health, finances, legal position, or relationships.

We calculate zodiac signs using the exact Lunar New Year boundary and the traditional lunisolar calendar, and we work hard to keep every date correct. Even so, the Site is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

• Historical calendar conventions have varied by region and era, so dates far in the past or the future may occasionally differ from other reputable sources.
• We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free, and we may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of it at any time.
• If you believe a result or date is wrong, please tell us — we fix verified errors promptly.

When using the Site, you agree not to:

• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the operation of the Site or its hosting;
• Scrape, mirror, or republish substantial parts of the Site’s content or code without our prior written permission;
• Use bots or other automated tools to access the Site;
• Misrepresent the Site or its content as your own work, or remove attribution when sharing excerpts;

We may suspend or block access for conduct that violates these Terms.

The Site’s name, design, text, code, tables, and compilations are owned by us or licensed to us and are protected by copyright and other laws. The underlying cultural tradition — the twelve animals, the sexagenary cycle, and the lunisolar calendar — belongs to everyone, and we claim no ownership over it.

You may share short excerpts of our content for non-commercial purposes with attribution and a link to the relevant page. Teachers and students may reuse our charts in classrooms freely. For anything larger or commercial, contact us first at support@chinesezodiaccalc.net.

The Site may link to third-party websites, and delivering it relies on third-party services such as hosting. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Your use of any third-party service is governed by that party’s own terms.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from or related to your use of — or inability to use — the Site.

Because the Site is free and provided for entertainment, our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us to use it (that is, nothing) or the minimum amount permitted by applicable law.

Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.
